Raymond has over 30 years of mechanical experience servicing different markets. He is not only the driving force of Rayker as its Owner and CEO, but also provides technical resource, support, and guidance needed for both turbine outages and customer operations. Raymond has held positions with Caterpillar, Turbine Generator Maintenance (TGM).
Due to his strong mechanical background, he has been able to hold positions such as Mechanic/Foreman/Technical Director/ and even President of TGM
Servicios Limitada, in Chile.
Raymond has been responsible for many multi-million-dollar projects including turbine overhauls and repairs, stator, and rotor rewinds, as well as taking part in the development and application of upgrades on all facets of the operation of steam turbine / generator sets.
In 2017, Raymond opened the doors of Rayker Mechanical Services, LLC. with a goal to provide unparalleled customer support and service in steam turbine and generator inspections, upgrades, and repairs.
Jeff Russell brings almost 25 years of power plant experience to his position as Director of Commercial Operations. Jeff began his career in the power industry while serving as a mechanic for the US Navy (MMN1).
Jeff has worked for different companies like PenPower and Turbine Generator Maintenance (TGM). He has held positions such as Mechanic, Foreman, Technical Field Advisor, Technical Director, and Proposal Manager.
Jeff has worked on steam turbines ranging from 12MW to 1100MW. He utilizes his knowledge of steam turbine maintenance outages to accurately estimate costs of project bids. He also applies this deeper empathy for customers to his position to provide a more complete view of customer service.
During his career, Jeff has earned his Business Management Degree.
Keith Patterson brings over 25 years of sales experience to his role of Director of Sales & Marketing. Keith held various sales positions for companies such as ProEnergy, Alstom, Power Services Group and AZCO Construction including Key Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Sales Manager. Keith has been active in creating opportunities for several markets including Power/Chemical/Refinery/Pulp & Paper
Keith has been involved with sourcing, identifying, and developing relationships with new and existing customers including national and international markets. Keith has also been involved with start-up and commissioning of power plant projects, including simple and combined cycle power plants, coal fired power plants, and environmental projects. Through his career, he has been involved with the development and the implementation of quality management programs including ISO9000.
Ken provides Safety Management, Sub-Contractor Management, Cost Control, Payroll Services, Licensing and Insurance Supervision for Rayker Mechanical Services.
He entered the steam turbine industry in 2007 as a Project Coordinator for Turbine Generator Maintenance. The Project Coordinator is a unique position within outage management. He is the right-hand man to the on-site Technical Director, planning and managing the procurement and coordination of all parts, vendors and sub-contractors. He also prepares and manages all of the paperwork for the outage including daily work reports, time cards, daily status reports for the customer, safety permitting and MSA reporting. Ken managed the successful completion of 100+ turbine outages of varying work scopes.
Ken brought this depth of turbine outage and business operational knowledge to Rayker Mechanical Services in 2017. From Safety Management to Payroll, business licensing to cost tracking, Ken has his hand on the pulse of the company, her employees, and the market.
At Rayker, Ken is the key contact point for our customers in outage planning, the contacts for both accounts payable and receivable, and is the final resource for Safety-related topics. Residing in Somerset, CA, Ken makes an easy access point for Rayker’s West Coast customers.
Prior to entering the turbine industry, Ken formed and managed a construction and real estate development company that independently developed, financed, and marketed custom homes and small commercial projects. In this role, he planned and managed projects while interacting with individual and corporate clients, local and state officials, inspectors, contractors, utilities, and financial institutions.
