Rayker Mechanical Services (Rayker) has developed tool sets specifically tuned to perform steam turbine generator outages. We arrive at your facility with all the tooling necessary to perform the agreed upon scope of work. We bring it all!
Our only exception is the specialty tooling provided with your turbine generator by the original equipment manufacturer. If for some reason the OEM tooling for your unit has been misplaced or damaged, Rayker can assist you with the specialized tooling design and/or procurement of the needed items.

Efficient Execution
Rayker understands that having the right tool to accomplish the outlined task is necessary and integral to the ability to perform an outage in a safe and effective manner. Proper organization and portability of the tooling is also necessary to allow the flexibility required for efficient execution of an outage in a wide variety of environments.
Rayker has invested in excess of $200,000 dollars in each containerized tooling set, specifically developed to perform steam turbine / generator outages. We continually evaluate and adapt our tooling sets with the goal of quality performance and the efficient execution of your outage as our primary focus. We include a fully functional office, organized to support all planning and outage management activities of our staff.
Containerized Tool Sets
Our tool set will arrive at your facility containerized on a single tractor trailer. Once the containers are offloaded at your facility the tool trailer can be unloaded and the individual tool boxes organized at the work site in a manner that will assist in the efficient execution of the outage.
All of our tooling is labeled, inventoried and organized in a manner that facilitates availability and improves the efficiency of our work force. Our tooling includes all the necessary safety equipment and expendables to execute in a manner that meets or exceeds all requirements.
We provide all of the precision instruments needed to properly inspect and evaluate components during the outage. We properly maintain and calibrate this tooling to ensure accurate data gathering through our detailed inspection processes. See Services for a description of these processes.
Our tooling also includes large wrenches, striking wrenches, lifting equipment and rigging, hydraulic wrenches and other equipment needed to meet almost any requirement we may encounter.
